song’s lyrics & poetry
- So it use to be our home, with roof and basement, with farm and garden all around, now it’s diseases and medicines, and the worst is coming, the good times are gone: what do we feel now ?
- the madness, the sickness, the stress…
- this stoned naked engine will follow its wanderings, sucked by the winds, the big blue has lost all its color now:
- Mother Hearth doesn’t feed her children no more.
- the madness, the sickness, the stress, of loosing our head, oh! scared to death of dying of fear !
- the madness, the sickness, the stress…
- shall it hurt, shall it pain? At the end of the edge, we are dying to ask: what will happen next? oh! loosing our head, oh oh, scared to death of dying of fear: the madness, the sickness, the stress of loosing our head, oh oh scared to death of dying of fear : the madness, the sickness, the stress…
take 2 stars, place them in the same dish, mix as little as possible, switch to “full screen” mode and simmer …

The Honolulu Museum of Art featured a film this month, Song of the Kauri, directed by Mathurin Molgat. The film, a part of the Aotearoa Film Festival, is about the ancient native Kauri tree of Aotearoa (New Zealand), it’s sustainability, and how it is used to craft musical instruments. After a recent trip to New Zealand, I noticed how vast and beautiful the kauri trees are. I recommend seeing the film for inspiration on how we can appreciate and sustain our own native flora and fauna.
Song of the Kauri is, “An environmental film full of music, forestry, hand crafted instruments, New Zealand’s incredible natural beauty and friends.”

I Have to Stop © pépé dubé (from T.T.R-M 1rst album 2012)
I’ve crossed doors and walls
Don’t know how
I’d like to sleep a bit
Just laying down
I should take a breath
Before I turn to clown
Need to find a bed
For those scratched bones
Aspirin or valium
Any kind of drugs
Need to slash me some
Better than any drop
Don’t remember his name
Just a smile on his face
I forgot everything
Don’t know why I’m crying
Oh, Blue , Red or white
Questions of time
Juste have to stop
To touch a cup of wine
My brain in scattering
And my guts are spreading out
No more strength for standing on
And no air at the window
Should I stay deaf or blind
Should this screw pierce my mind
Was I alive yesterday
Now I’m laying in a grave
Oh no..
Follow the Flow
(© Pépé Dubé – for T.T.R-M 1rst album 2012)
Day by day I bounce on the river banks
Wall of soil or sand softly push me back
Rolled, pushed, shaped from the spring to torrents
From well to waterfall and beyond the bound
No more than a drop
In the wave, a bubble
Not even a pebble in the river swirl
And I finely found
Take it easy guys, we follow the flow
No more than a drop
In the wave a bubble,
Not even a single little pebble
In the river swirl…
There’s no other way
Don’t need to swim out
We shall reach the sea
Currents carry on
Just a step ahead
From bottom to surface
A simple jump forward
From shadow to the flash
Take it easy guys, we follow the flow
No more than a drop
In the wave a bubble,
Not even a single little pebble
In the river swirl…
I finely found
On infinity’s beach
From river to the ocean
In valleys
Between cliffs and mountains
We always be blown

All around is mist and fog Open spaces are closing down In anyway perfectly lost In any group feeling alone No way out of this cave With that rock's locked doors Bleeding knees and raging nails Trembling to scrape the world Still we believe we are the best? Able to touch the stars Earning to go so high By any lifts, stairs or flies Do we really need to join that old hypocrite jokes Just as fool as clowns In a never-ending fall. Is there a down after the sunset? Is there a bridge on this canyon? At least a breeze in the desert Or a pit-bull to walk alone? Better silence than screams Drops rolling down the creek Some breeze lost on the crown Tells me I'm still strong! ... Do we really need to join that old hypocrite jokes just as fool as clown in a never-ending fall a rainbow over the roof smashing up those shadows Sparks and fireflies Anywhere must keep on shine
